At the beginning of this month Sarah and I took UrbanPosture and booth helper Tiffany and ALL our goods to Brooklyn, NY for our very first show outside of the Midwest. Renegade Craft hosts many great indie craft shows throughout the country with Brooklyn being one of their locations.
We made the road trip there a two day occasion and took our time driving interstate 80 taking turns between the 3 of us gals driving. Pennsylvania was so beautiful… I think a vacation there would be lovely. Such beautiful vasts of trees and blankets ferns! It only makes sense that we would love all this!

We got into Manhattan late Thursday night, drove through some very narrow streets in Soho, took the Williamsburg Bridge over to Brooklyn and found a street parking spot only 3 blocks away from our friend Erica’s apartment. Success!

Saturday morning was the beginning of Renegade and off to McCarren Park we went. The day was HOT and sunny, you would think that us Iowans would be use to that.

We had a great time meeting other vendors as well as chatting it up with customers. Many people were amazed that we came ALL the way from Iowa for the show. We really have to admit it was because of the encouragement from the gentleman of Gnome Enterprises that we made the trip.
It was a blast and we hope to do it again! Brooklyn we HEART YOU!
